SMK Muhammadiyah of Tumijajar - Today, SMK MUTU is holding an inaugural agenda which involves several SMK Special Job Exchanges (BKK) throughout the Tulang Bawang Barat district. This special agenda is the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding by IndoJapan Manpower Training Association with BKK Muhammadiyah Tumijajar Vocational School.
The Job Training Institute, IndoJapan Manpower Training Association (MTA) or IM JAPAN is a Japanese organization based in Indonesia. IM JAPAN itself has a program, one of which is G TO G (Government to Government), which is a domestic program that has been agreed upon by Japan and Indonesia.
In the agenda this time, BKK SMK MUTU and IndoJapan MTA signed a cooperation contract which was attended directly by the Director of IndoJapan Manpower Training Association , Mr. Heri Suripto, S.P., Chairman of the Lampung Province BKK, Mr. Edi Susanto, S.Pd., M.Pd., head of division (Manpower Office of Tulang Bawang Barat district), Mr. H. Karbiso, M.M who represented, the head of the TUBABA district, BKK Vocational School Principals and all SMK BKKs who were present at the venue.
According to Mr. Edi Susanto, M.Pd, "BKK has become the spearhead for SMK alumni". Until in the process of Apprenticeship Training to Japan, they have to go through various selections, including; training in Japanese, English, Mathematics, Interview Psychology, FMD (physical, mental and disciplinary), Japanese customs, culture and laws and entrepreneurship training. He also added that "the most important thing during the Interview Psychological Test, students must have 70% soft skills and 30% skills". He said.
Furthermore, according to Mr. Heri Suripno, S.P as the director of IndoJapan Manpower Training Association Lampung, said, "that this cooperation program effort is one of the solutions for a bright future". Besides that, he also said that the result of those selections process would be sent according to the standards classified by IndoJapan MTA. "Whatever it's requested by IndoJapan MTA that is in accordance with the standards, we will immediately send it after completing the training given previously". said Mr. Heri.
So if those selected for the program have succeeded in working for 3 years in Japan, then after returning to Indonesia with large capital, they will be directed to be developed till they can open businesses or jobs in their areas.
Mr. Syamsul Hidayat, S.Pd.I as the principal of SMK MUTU said that the basic principles in SMK MUTU are 3 B, namely; growing, sprouting and classy. His hope is "MoU BKK SMK MUTU and IndoJapan Menpower Training Association will be a bridge for the alumni who graduate of SMK MUTU to be ready to face challenges and a professional and classy world of work in the future". said Mr. Syamsul Hidayat, S.Pd.I.
Hopefully this will be a good start, which can be useful for schools, especially to prepare students to work in Japan.(adr / asr)
