SMK Muhammadiyah Tumijajar - This year is the second year SMK MUhammadiyah Tumijajar has included its students in the 2020 Viera Selection. TOEIC itself is carried out by the Directorate of Vocational High School Development in collaboration with the International Test Center (ITC).
This year, as many as 50 students consisting of grade XI and XII from various majors took part in this Viera Selection. Their enthusiasm and seriousness can be seen from their enthusiasm in working on the questions which consist of Listening, Grammar and Reading questions with a total of 100 questions and duration of 60 minutes.
Refers to Anang, a student of class XI majoring in TBSM A, felt quite challenged when he was faced with a listening section, even though he was not afraid. "When I heard about the listening section I was almost fooled by each answer, plus the time which was only 5 seconds after the question was read out." he said when interviewed after the test was over.
It is known that it is important for the Government to improve the quality of education and SMK graduates in building human resources, so the government through DSMK provides opportunities for International Certification Assistance. Through the SMK English Challenge 2020 program - International English Language Proficiency Certification Exam Assistance with TOEIC for SMK students.
Mrs. Annisa Reza, S.Pd as an English teacher stated "by holding the selection in this second year, God willing, I am optimistic that some of them will pass the selection, because last year no one passed". said this senior teacher. At the same time, Mrs. Nur Anggraini, S.Pd, who was also part of the team of English teachers together with Mrs. Annisa Reza, S.Pd and Ayu Silvia Rosa, S.Pd also added "I think this year is better than last year, there are no many obstacles. There were only a few technical errors at the beginning, the rest went smoothly successed., "said Mrs. Nur.
The Principal of SMK Muhammadiyah Tumijajar, Mr. Syamsul Hodayat, S.Pd.I also provides support and hope to all students who take part in the 2020 Viera Selection. He also hopes that the English Teacher Team will work together and continue to be enthusiastic about assisting students in improving their ability to communicate in English. .
