PKL or Internship is one of the student activities to gain work experience before entering the real world of work. This is reflected in the Pancasila-based National Education which aims to increase intelligence, creativity and skills according to the SMK curriculum.
In connection with the above, Mr. Ponidi was explained a lot about how the forwardness of educational instruments in collaborating and preparing students and teachers who are competent in their respective fields. "In educating students, as a teacher you should prioritize to their character, adjust to the motto of the Muhammadiyah Tumijajar Vocational School which is Religious, Excellent and Ready to Work. Implementation of all the knowledge that has been obtained, especially Attitude, must be prioritized, followed by knowledges and skills." he said.
In aligning the appropriate learning Curriculum, so that it can be implemented to students, the teacher must be continue to increase the capacity and competence of expertise in their fields, as well as synergize with IDUKA. Moreover, when students gets their PKL, they will get new knowledge, the school also gets a good name and gets prospective escort with best quality too. "Dont make it difficult to students, make them comfortable in carrying out their duties" he said to the participants of the socialization. Internship are declared successfully if they can fulfill it with the criteria maximally.
Regarding the assessment of activating by IDUKA and SMK MUTU, the speaker also explained what students must prepare during the Internship, including: Discipline in work (attendance), work skills, decision making, intuitive skills, cooperation, loyalty, responsibility, attitude and honesty and achievement. work.
All of the above will be assessed for further communication and consultation with SMK stakeholders, after which, a certificate will be given. Previously, IDUKA and teachers who are competent in their field have conducted Monitoring and Evaluation. Mr. Ir. Ponidi Sunaryo, M.M were explained that students' daily journals, final reports, and presentations were the final assessment during the internship.
The principal of SMK MUTU, Mr. Syamsul Hidayat, S.Pd.I, revealed that he was lucky to get a supervisor who was wise, friendly and extraordinary inbsupporting the progress of SMK MUTU to go National.
