Muhammadiyah Tumijajar Vocational School is a superior Vocational School in Tulang Bawang Barat Regency. Although a private school, this school is very superior in all aspects, especially in the field of management lead by the principal of SMK MUTU, Mr. Syamsul Hidayat, S.Pd.I.

Regarding the facilities and infrastructures that we can see now, is a tangible manifestation of the strong commitment of all schools equipment so that each year are always changing, and certainly increasing. Various efforts continues to be made for maximum progress and achievement for our beloved school of Muhammadiyah Tumijajar Vocational School. The addition of classrooms in the new school year is also a part of the school's efforts to balance the increasing quantity of students who will study together at the Muhammadiyah Vocational School in Tumijajar. 

It seems that, mentality and ideology are always reflected there, including the construction of Islam, customs and speech acts that are polite and good, code of ethics and others that are expected to become a Madani school in the future under the Muhammadiyah Association. 

Moreover, the attention of the Regional Government of West Tulang Bawang Regency towards SMK MUTU certainly has a fairly good share in helping school operations. The achievement of teaching and learning in a comfortable class and always achievers in all fields. 

In the surrounding community, or neighboring areas, the Muhammadiyah Tumijajar Vocational School is considered become a popular school destination among the communities. Evidenced by prospective new students who register for the 2020/2021 academic year approximately over 500 students who were registered but only around 400 students accepted to study at SMK MUTU. This proves that the extraordinary interest of the community whose children want to attend this favorite school. 

In line, with the number of new students entering this favorite Vocational School, there are no fewer alumni of Muhammadiyah Tumijajar Vocational School was absorbed by the workforce and continue their study to a higher level of education. In fact, that many alumni were accepted at state and private universities both in Lampung or even in Indonesia. 

The knowledge they have gained during their school years hopefully in the future will make them leaders of nationally, righteous, independent, and educated people. (asr/adr)
